Putting Course, Paddle Boats To Open At Colonial Park Saturday
The putting course and the paddle boats on Powder Mill Pond at Colonial Park in Franklin Township will open for the season on Saturday.

FRANKLIN, NJ — The putting course and the paddle boats on Powder Mill Pond at Colonial Park in Franklin Township will open for the season on Saturday, May 4, Somerset County Park Commission announced.
Designed on a 1.5 acre site, the Colonial Park Putting Course offers fairways ranging in length from 25 to 75 feet with rough, sand, and water hazards. The course has also been designed to be fully accessible to all players.
The putting course will be open Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 8 p.m. through Sunday, June 9. Beginning Saturday, June 15, the facility will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fee is $8 for adults; $5 for youth and seniors; and $2 for children under 5 years. Foot-powered paddle boats are available on Powder Mill Pond on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 8 p.m. through June 9. Beginning Saturday, June 15, the boats will be available seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fee is $13 per half hour for duck-themed boats and $10 per half hour for standard boats and $10 per person for the putting course and paddle boat combo. A boat with hand pedals is available for persons with limited mobility.
