HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Police are reminding residents to lock their cars and remove valuables after two cars were stolen and a large number of cars were burglarized over Easter Weekend in Hillsborough.
Police said all of the cars burglarized and stolen were unlocked at the time. It is unclear what part of the town the burglaries occurred or how many cars were burglarized.
"Residents are reminded to be diligent in locking their vehicles and avoid leaving keys, fobs and other valuable items in plain sight," said Hillsborough Police Sgt. Stephen Nowacki.
