Resident Awoken By Barking Dogs, Voices Inside Montgomery Home
Two men broke into a York Drive home on Wednesday night while the resident slept, Montgomery Police said.
MONTGOMERY, NJ — A sleeping Montgomery resident was awoken to find two men had broken into the home on Wednesday night.
At 10:16 p.m., a York Drive resident called police and said they were asleep when they were woken up by barking dogs, the sound of footsteps and unfamiliar voices inside the home, said Montgomery Police.
The resident activated the house alarm which caused the two men to run away from the home, the resident said.

A search for the men was conducted by Montgomery Township Police, New Jersey State Police Air Support, Hillsborough Township Police K9, Somerset County Sheriff K9 and Princeton Township Police, with no luck.
The resident reported undisclosed proceeds to be missing.

The police are asking that residents in the area review any security camera footage and report any suspicious persons or vehicles that may have been observed to 908-359-3222.
