See How Hillsborough Paid Principals, Administrators In 2020-21

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough School District principals and administrators are paid higher than the median statewide salary, according to state data for the 2020-21 school year. See how they compare across the state and in Somerset County.

After delays caused by the COVID crisis, the state released new information that shows how much every New Jersey school district budgeted to pay principals, superintendents and administrators in 2020-21.

Hillsborough School District pays principals and administrators a median salary of $135,000, which is the seventh highest-paid in Somerset County and 153rd highest in the state. This is higher than the median statewide administrator salary, which is $128,052.

Bridgewater-Raritan's principals and administrators are the highest paid in Somerset County with a median salary of $148,545 and Thomas Edison Energysmart Charter School in Somerset paid the lowest amount in Somerset County with a median salary of $92,000 and is 578th in the state.
