Services Set For Hillsborough Wife Ejected During Fatal I-78 Crash, Husband Still Hospitalized

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The Hillsborough local who was ejected from her pickup truck on I-78 in Warren County Monday afternoon will be missed by many.
Michelle Ferrante, 51, of Hillsborough was a volunteer for the Bridgewater Multiple Sclerosis Support Group and donated a lot of her time spreading awareness for MS.
Born in Morristown, Ferrante resided in Bernardsville before moving to Hillsborough 20 years ago.

She loved gardening, admiring the birds that visited her yard, camping with her husband Anthony, horseback riding, traveling to family gatherings and spending quality time with her family, according to her obituary posted on branchburgfuneralhome.com.
"She will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved her," her obituary stated.

Her husband of 26 years, Anthony Ferrante, 50, also of Hillsborough, was the driver of the truck when the accident occurred and was flown to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, the report said.
Surviving are her husband, Anthony; her loving parents, Sandra and Michael Bolink of Branchburg; her dear brother, Matthew and wife Mary Anne Bolink of Branchburg; two wonderful sisters, Terri DePoortere of Branchburg and Sandy and husband Garry Bradfield of High Bridge; her wonderful mother-in-law, June Ferrante of Hillsborough and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held Sunday, July 16 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg. Burial will be private.
