Plainfield Man's Dream To Become Lawyer Cut Short, Killed In PA
26-year-old Kevin Rosero aspired to give his parents a better life without struggles. Now his parents are struggling to pay for his funeral.

PLAINFIELD, NJ — At just 26-years-old, Kevin Rosero dreamed of giving his immigrant parents a better life without struggle. The Rutgers University graduate aspired to become an Immigration Lawyer but his life was cut short last week when his body was found in a wooded area in Pennsylvania.
Now his parents, who immigrated from Ecuador are struggling to cover Rosero's funeral expenses. A GoFundMe fundraising site has been set up for Rosero's family.
Two New Jersey brothers Anthony Gamble, 19, and Joshua Gamble, 17, both of Somerset are charged in connection with Rosero's death on June 17. Read More: New Jersey Brothers Charged In Bucks County Homicide

Rosero attended Raritan Valley Community College before transferring to Rutgers University in New Brunswick in 2017. He graduated from the University's School of Arts and Sciences with a 3.4 cumulative GPA. He was a History-Political Science Major and Latino and Caribbean Studies (LCS) Minor, according to Cecy Tirado.
"Kevin was about to begin his Masters Degree in September... he was on his way to fulfill his dreams. Unfortunately, his life was cut short by a tragic death," according to the GoFundMe page. "Not only are his parents heartbroken because their only child was taken away brutally at the ripe age of 26, but they have to pay for his funeral services."

Visitation will be held Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Judkins Colonial Home, 428 W. 4th St., Plainfield.
