Somerset Repair Shop To Donate 3 Cars To Good Causes
Resta's Total Auto Care in Somerset is celebrating its 75th Anniversary with feature live music, free food, and discounted gas Saturday.
SOMERSET, NJ — Resta's Total Auto Care in Somerset will donate three cars to two charitable causes and one person in need as part of their 75th Anniversary on Saturday.
The person will be chosen by Franklin Township Mayor Phillip Kramer and the two charities include the Matheny Center in Peapack and the New Jersey branch of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Resta’s at 1873 Amwell Road in Somerset will donate a refurbished 1997 Nissan Maxima, a 2006 Honda Accord, and a 1999 Toyota Camry.

All three cars needed repairs and restoration in order for them to be considered safe and reliable. Repairs, done by Resta's, included items such as new brakes, new exhaust systems, repair of oil leaks, filters, air conditioner repairs, and new batteries, CV axels, and new wipers.
In addition to the vehicle giveaway, the 75th-anniversary celebration will allow guests to sit in Joey Logano’s #22 NASCAR. The celebration will also feature live music, free food, and discounted gas and will start at noon.
