Stage House Tavern Somerset Offers Free Meals To Those In Need

The Somerset-based restaurant will also offer "affordable" family to-go packages during the state-mandated closures due to the coronavirus.

SOMERSET, NJ — Stage House Tavern in Somerset is giving back to community during the state-mandated closures due to the new coronavirus.

The restaurant at is offering free meals to those at risk, quaratined, or seniors and also "affordable" family meals for all.

"During this time of impending shut downs, closings and unsettling future I would like all of Stage House Tavern's family and friends to know that we are here for you," Stage House Tavern Somerset Executive Chef Donald Erickson Jr. said.

Stage House is prepared to deliver up to 100 hot meals per day to the doorsteps of anyone over the age of 65 and it at high risk or is quarantined and needs to eat.

"DO NOT hesitate to call us. We are also preparing to be able to deliver to our senior community for free," Erickson Jr. said.

Family meals that will feed a family of four will also be available for anyone for $22.95. Pick up and delivery is available daily from 2 to 6 p.m.

The funds from the curbside pick up with be used to support the free meals for seniors.
