HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Thai Chili House, a new family-run restaurant, has opened in Hillsborough and is already getting rave reviews.

Max Lau, who has 15 years experience cooking Thai cuisine, opened the restaurant with his sister, brother-in-law and their children at 450 Amwell Road.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Aug. 3 with Mayor Frank DelCore and Business Advocate David Kois.

Dishes include spring rolls, dumplings, Thai curry, duck, Thai noodles, Mango Snapper, Pad Scallops and more. See the full menu here.

Since opening the restaurant is already getting great reviews on Google and Yelp. It has 5 stars on Google and 4.5 stars on Yelp.

"One of the best Thai places that's been started in Hillsborough. Their food quality is outstanding and portions are great. Not too expensive," said a Google reviewer.

Thai Chili House is open seven days a week.
