When Does Daylight Saving Time End in 2012?

Dark mornings will be getting a little brighter soon.

Those 7:30 a.m. commutes–which some of us have yet to get back to since Sandy–are about to get a little brighter. Daylight Saving Time officially ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4.

Remember, you'll "fall back" by setting your clocks back one hour. Many electronic devices automatically adjust when Daylight Saving Time begins or ends. Right now in our region, though, power itself is a scarce commodity.

When you change your clocks in the fall and spring, it’s also a good time to change smoke detector batteries and check to make sure other devices are in working order.

Arizona, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa do not observe Daylight Saving Time.

Daylight Saving Time begins again on March 10, 2013.
