The initial investigation has led to the arrests of Gregorio Zepeda, 25, and Jose Perez Moreno, 30, both of Lakewood. Both were charged with second-degree aggravated assault and were taken to the Ocean County Jail, Staffordsmith said.
The attack happened about 9:20 p.m. Thursday, and the attackers took off before police arrived, but a witness told police they may have left in a dark-colored SUV. The investigation led to a black Lincoln Navigator several blocks away, along with Zepeda and Perez Moreno, he said.
