Crash With Injuries Closes 1 Lane Of I-195: Authorities

The crash involves a vehicle that has run off the highway and hit a tree, New Jersey State Police said.

JACKSON, NJ — Two people have been seriously injured in a crash on Interstate 195 in Jackson on Thursday afternoon, state police said.

A vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree in the crash at milepost 22.2 that was reported at 1:21 p.m., New Jersey State Trooper Alejandro Goez said.

The crash happened west of Exit 22, which leads to the Jackson Mills section of Jackson Township.

The right lane is closed while the crash is investigated, Goez said.

Authorities say the lane closure is causing delays of 5 to 10 minutes through the area.
