Exclusion. Faith against Faith.

Store manager asks Christian woman not to return to the store because she was not Jewish.

I went to a store to buy clothes yesterday. I started up and down the isles looking at great clothes. Midway through my search a woman approaches me. It was the lady behind the counter I said hello to as I entered the store earlier. She said " how did you find us?" I could feel the hostility. I said. " I am not from here, I found you on Google." She laced her fingers together. " Right. She said. " Well this isn't a typical store. We're not a consignment or open to the public. We are here for our community because we can not wear the same clothing as you. I see you have some things in your cart, so I will allow you to buy those today." I was so shocked. I, as a woman of faith, never felt so low before. I continued to pick out a few more items and scurry on my way. I walked to the front. There were other women looking at me and didn't say a word. I put my clothes on the counter and said. " I'm Christian, and it's very hard to find conservative clothes." She simply nodded. I felt that there was no more conversation left in her. I left the store feeling a bit shaken and shocked. Store name Serendipity, Lakewood, NJ.
