The Lakewood BlueClaws are hosting a fireworks display on July 3 at FirstEnergy Park, New Hampshire and Cedar Bridge avenues in Lakewood. Tickets to that event — both inside the stadium and in the parking lot — are sold out, however you may be able to see at least part of the display from some of the parking lots at businesses near the stadium.

In addition, there will be Fireworks by Sipe Adjustment Group in Toms River on July 4. The fireworks display is sponsored by Jesse Sipe, owner of Sipe Adjustment Group, and was announced after Murphy said the number of people at a public gathering could increase to 500.

Sipe Adjustment Group has partnered with WRAT 95.9 FM for the audio choreographed display. And while Shelter Cove Park is small and will likely fill up quickly, they are suggesting other parks and spots where the view should be good:

  • Skyview Park, 811 Vaughn Ave., Toms River
  • Parking Lots at Indian Hill Road and Hooper Avenue in Toms River
  • Silver Bay waterfront in Toms River
  • Chadwick Beach
  • Lavallette, Ortley Beach & Seaside Heights bay fronts
  • Ocean Beach 1, 2, & 3
  • Normandy Beach

Due to the pandemic, counties or cities may adjust or cancel events at the last minute. Check your event before you go. Know of other events in the area? Post them on the Patch calendar or share details on our free Neighbor Post feature.
