Lakewood Public Schools Announce Early Dismissal Feb. 20

The early dismissal was announced amid predictions for a winter storm. See early dismissal times inside.

LAKEWOOD, NJ — Lakewood Public School District officials announced the district will have an early dismissal on Wednesday, Feb. 20, amid predictions of an incoming winter storm.

The announcement, posted on the district's website, said all after-school activities have been canceled as well.

The dismissal times are as follows:

11:30 a.m. High School, Middle School
12:15 p.m. Ella G. Clarke, Clifton Ave Grade School, Oak Street School
1:00 p.m. Early Childhood Center, Piner Elementary, Spruce Street School

A winter weather advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for all 21 counties in New Jersey, with predictions of 2 to 5 inches of snow and the majority of the snow falling between 2 and 5 p.m. Read more: Snow Estimates As Gov. Phil Murphy Addresses NJ Winter Weather
