Lakewood School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

LAKEWOOD, NJ — The first day of school in Lakewood is September 7— and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Lakewood School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

September

• 9/7: Students' First Day
• 9/10: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/11: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

October

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/8: No School (NJEA Convention)
• 11/9: No School (NJEA Convention)
• 11/19-11/21: Parent Teacher Conferences (Shortened Days for Grades Pre-K-8)
• 11/22-11/23: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/24-12/31: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/15 and 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day Weekend)

April

• 4/19-4/26: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/14: Shortened Day (LHS and LMS Only)
• 6/17-6/20: Shortened Days (All Schools)
• 6/20: Last Day of School/High School Graduation
