Lakewood Shooting Kills Little Egg Harbor Man
Authorities are seeking information from the public as they investigate the shooting that happened Sunday evening.
LAKEWOOD, NJ — A Litte Egg Harbor Township man was shot and killed Sunday evening in Lakewood, and authorities are seeking tips from the public about the shooting.
Dajour Randolph, 20, died at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood, where he was taken after he was found in the middle of the street with a gunshot wound to the chest, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Lakewood Police Chief Gregory Meyer said in a joint statement.
A call to 911 about 7:40 p.m. reported a man had collapsed in the middle of the road on Tudor Court in the Coventry Square neighborhood, and police found Randolph in the road.

The prosecutor’s office’s Major Crime and High Tech Crime units, Lakewood police and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit are investigating.
Billhimer and Meyer said there is no known danger to the public at this time.
