Man Found In Lakewood Bathroom With Gunshots To Legs: Police
Police said the man, from Jackson, had called to report that he'd been shot.

LAKEWOOD, NJ — Police are investigating the circumstances of a shooting at a Lakewood home that left a Jackson in critical condition with at least three gunshot wounds to his legs.
Shaqueese White, 30, of Jackson, was found in the bathroom of a home on Marshall Street in the Pine Acres section when Officer Matthew McAvoy responded to a call about 7:35 p.m. from a man saying he had just been shot, Lakewood Capt. Gregory Staffordsmith said.
White had at least three gunshot wounds to his legs. He was taken to a local hospital for emergency treatment and is currently in critical but stable condition, Staffordsmith said.

"Details surrounding the event are not clear at this time," he said, and Lakewood police and the Ocean County Sheriff's office are investigating.
Staffordsmith said additional information would be released as it becomes available.
