Police Seeking Witnesses To Crash That Killed 2 In Jackson
The identities of the two who were killed had not been released as of Friday morning.

JACKSON, NJ — Jackson Township police were seeking witnesses to a one-vehicle crash that killed two people Thursday afternoon.
The crash on Faraday Avenue near Houston Avenue of a green 1999 Nissan Pathfinder killed the driver and the passenger, who died at the scene of the 3:30 p.m. crash despite rescue efforts, Jackson Sgt. George Vidalis said.
The identities of the two had not been released as of Friday morning; Vidalis said in a post on the police department's Facebook page that police were delaying release of the information while notification was made to their families.

The preliminary investigation indicated the Pathfinder was headed south on Faraday Avenue when for unknown reasons the driver lost control and went off the right side of the road, crossing over Houston Avenue and hitting a utility pole, he said.
The crash remains under investigation by Jackson Police Officers Joseph Candido, Brad Reider and Donald Lasko of the department's Traffic Safety Bureau.
