Tax Preparation Help Available For Lakewood Senior Citizens

LAKEWOOD, NJ — Senior citizens who live in Lakewood and need assistance preparing their 2019 tax return can get help through April 10 in Lakewood.

The assistance is provided through a partnership of the Ocean County Office of Senior Services and AARP. There is no charge.

You will need to bring the following items:

• Copy of your 2019 Federal and New Jersey tax returns
• Your Social Security card
• All W-2 wage and tax statements
• All 1099-R pension and annuity statements
• All 1099s for interest, dividends, stocks, etc.
• All Social Security statements including Form SSA-1099
• All Medical Expenses including mileage
• All tax-related statements (property tax, etc.)
• Bank account information for direct deposit of refund or direct debit of payment
• PTR Booklet and Primary Residence Real Estate Tax Bill

• Lakewood Branch Ocean County Library, 301 Lexington Ave., in the front presentation room, on Fridays through April 10, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. by appointment only; call 732-363-1435, ext. 2101 or 2102
• Original Leisure Village, Dorchester Hall, 368 Chesterfield Court (Open to residents of Original Leisure Village only), Fridays through April 10, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. by appointment only; call 732-364-3770.
