ABERDEEN, NJ — An Aberdeen man is facing child pornography charges following a two-month investigation that began with a tip from a social media site, announced Monmouth County Prosecutor Chris Gramiccioni.

The county prosecutor did not release any more specifics of the charges, except to say that the tip was received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children from an unnamed social media platform.

From there, it was sent to the State Police's New Jersey Internet Crimes Against Children Regional Task Force and in January the Monmouth County prosecutor began its investigation with assistance from the Aberdeen Police Department.
