Aberdeen Pet Store Donates Pet Food To Local Shelters

Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming will make the donation this Saturday, April 27 at the American Cancer Society Bark for Life event in Old Bridge.

ABERDEEN, NJ — An Aberdeen pet supply store and grooming shop will donate 1,900 pounds of pet food to cancer research and local animal rescue groups this Saturday.

Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming — located in the Stop & Shop plaza on Hwy. 34 in Aberdeen —will present the donation this Saturday, April 27 at the American Cancer Society Bark For Life event at Mannino Park in Old Bridge.

This is a noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer.

Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming will give away free bags of pet food to all canine participants. All the remaining pet food will be given to Sammy's Hope, a nonprofit animal rescue group located in Sayreville.

In addition, Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming will make a pet food donation to Castle of Dreams
Animal Rescue, a nonprofit rescue group based in Keyport that focuses on rescuing
dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters.
