The bridge on Aberdeen Road over Matawan Creek is now open.
Monmouth County officials were making emergency repairs to the bridge yesterday after they identified a sinkhole that was making passage for drivers unsafe, according to a press release.
Patch will follow up on the county's long term plans for the bridge.
