Aberdeen Spray Park Closes; Town Prepares For Tropical Storm
Heavy rains leading to flash flooding are possible Monday evening through Tuesday night. A full moon tide on Monday will make tides higher.

ABERDEEN, NJ — The spray park at Veterans Memorial Park will be closed tomorrow, August 4 due to the impending arrival of Tropical Storm Isaias.
Tropical storm force winds, which are defined as sustained winds of 39 to 73 mph, will likely start hitting along the Jersey Coastline starting Tuesday morning and into Tuesday evening.

Aberdeen residents are urged to prepare for potentially severe weather by securing loose items around your property that could become airborne. Make sure your pets are inside during the storm. Make sure to check batteries, flashlights, generators and other supplies in case of a power outage. Never run a generator inside your home.
If you do lose power, call JCP&L at 1-888-544-4877 to report your power outage, NOT the Aberdeen police. If you see a downed utility line, immediately report it to the Aberdeen Township Police Department. Never go near or touch a downed utility wire.
