Aberdeen Suspends Garbage Collection Today
Aberdeen had hoped to continue its garbage collection schedule today until it becomes dangerous for employees.
ABERDEEN, NJ - The garbage company has pulled their trucks off the road after initially saying it would collect trash until it became dangerous to do so. The collection company was unable to get Cliffwood Beach and only got about 1/3 through their routes, officials said.
The garbage company will be out doing both sides of town tomorrow and do as much as they can do. If they do not get to pick up your garbage tomorrow they will finish collection on Saturday.
Also, in weather-related developments, Aberdeen has closed municipal court as of noon. Municipal Court will reopen tomorrow at 8:30 a.m., officials said.
