Aberdeen's Cliffwood section families raising money for family devastated by fire.

ABERDEEN, NJ - A fire in the 300 Block of West Prospect resulted in the loss of the home and a pet cat, according to a Facebook post.
After talking with police, neighbors have decided the best way for people, including the Cliffwood Neighborhood Watch group, to help is to collect gift cards on behalf of the watch group to give to the family to get them through the next few weeks.
If you would like to contribute, you can drop off a gift card at town hall at the Police Dispatch window after hours or at the reception window during work hours, according to Facebook.
The Cliffwood Volunteer Fire Department thanked the mutual aid companies and emergency medican technicians including those from Keyport, Union Beach, Holmdel, Matawan and Laurence Harbor, who responded.
