Aberdeen's Final Outdoor Summer Concert Is Sept. 24

ABERDEEN, NJ — Fall may be quickly approaching but it’s still summer in Aberdeen! That's because the Route 80’s band performance (part of Aberdeen's Summer Movie and Concert series) has been rescheduled to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24. at Veterans Memorial Park in Cliffwood Beach.

The 80s cover band was originally supposed to perform on Aug. 13, but the event was rescheduled due to inclement weather.

“This eighties cover band will make you ‘wanna dance with somebody’ ‘all night long,’” said Aberdeen public information officer Brittany Shea. “So embrace your voluminous hair, wear your favorite neon shirt, and get ready for the experience that is Route 80’s.”

Please bring chairs or blankets, and snacks and beverages to enjoy during the event. Veterans Memorial Park is located at Ocean Boulevard and Lakeshore Drive in Cliffwood Beach.

Throughout the summer, Aberdeen’s Summer Movie and Concert series presented a variety of music and movies including classic Southern rock, 70s and 80s cover bands, classic soul, R&B, Motown and disco and country music along with movies “The Incredibles” and “The Greatest Showman.” For further information visit www.aberdeennj.org.
