Angelo's in Matawan Serving Up $10 Pies
Sandy left the pizza place without power, but owner John Sanfratello got a generator and started serving up pies for hungry locals.
Angelo's in Matawan is open and serving $10 large plain pies for hungry people looking for a hot meal after four days without power.
The pizza place lost power during Sandy on Monday as owner John Sanfratello was cooking pies to donate to the police department, fire department, emergency responders and local shelters.
With about fifty pies baked and ready-to-go, the power at Angelo's went out.

"We're not really making any money on them, but..." Sanfratello said, shrugging as he boxed a fresh pie.
"We'll be open until we run out of gas or until we run out of food. Whichever happens first," he said.
Angelo's phone still works and they can be reached at 732-583-5880.
