The National Weather Service is predicting a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday with a high near 85 degrees. The rain is expected to continue into the evening, with temperatures dropping to about 72 degrees.

Drop by The Hobby Shop for a Rainbow Loom beginner class on at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. The class costs $10, which includes multi-colored bands. Participants are asked to bring their own loom.
