On Sunday, November 24th at 9:30 am, Temple Shalom of Aberdeen’s Caring Committee will host a breakfast program that is open to the community. The Committee will present a program titled: COPING WITH THE IMPACT OF VIOLENCE IN TODAY'S SOCIETY, Caring for Our Children and Caring for Ourselves.

The speakers are Steven J. Horvath, the Assistant Director of the Monmouth County Office of Mental Health and Shelley Feingold, Program Development Specialist at the Monmouth County Office of Mental Health. They will be addressing how the events of mass violence create societal trauma and hyper-vigilance that in turn leads to anxiety and depression in our communities.

A light breakfast will be served. The cost is $5 per family. Temple Shalom is located at 5 Ayrmont Lane in Aberdeen. For information about the program, please contact Barb Raffel at barb.raffel@gmail.com.
