Fifth Child Victim Now Identified At Sayreville Daycare: Police

It is now a total of five children a young man who worked at a Sayreville daycare is accused of molesting, said the county prosecutor.

SAYREVILLE, NJ — It is now a total of five children that a young man who worked at a Sayreville daycare is accused of molesting, according to office of Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone.

She and Sayreville police announced the fifth child victim Tuesday.

Kyle Finn, 20, of Sayreville, worked as a former aide at Superhero Schoolhouse daycare in Parlin.

In total, Finn is charged with six counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, seven counts of second-degree sexual assault, and five counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. The charges vary depending on his five alleged child victims.

All the children were sexually abused on site at the day care, according to Sayreville police and the county prosecutor.

Also, the director of the daycare, Superhero Schoolhouse in Parlin, was arrested Sunday and was charged with failure to report child abuse, a disorderly persons offense, said the county prosecutor. The director is Charmaine Larkin, 44, who lives in South River.

Finn has been terminated from his employment at Superhero Schoolhouse. He also worked as a camp counselor for Our Lady of Victories Parish Church in Sayreville and the Sayreville Department of Recreation. He has also volunteered for the Sayreville Association for Brain Injured Children.
