The First Presbyterian Church Matawan is pleased to announce the arrival of its newly installed pastor, Rev. Natalie Bell.

The First Presbyterian Church Matawan is pleased to announce the arrival of its newly installed pastor, Rev. Natalie Bell. She began her pastoral leadership on March 4, 2021.
Pastor Natalie grew up near Oklahoma City. She graduated from the University of Tulsa with a B.A. in Religion and Psychology, and from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1998 with her M.Div. She then served churches in Lawrenceville, NJ, and Muskogee and Cleveland, Oklahoma before becoming Pastor of First Presbyterian of Owasso, Oklahoma. She served the Owasso church for 16 years before being called to First Presbyterian of Matawan.
She is married to Ed Bell, and they enjoy traveling and exploring the outdoors, as well as antique and resale shops. She has a son in Kansas City, and her daughter lives with them in Matawan. Pastor Natalie comes from a large close-knit family in OK, TX, and NY, staying in touch these days thanks to weekly Zooms! Natalie loves to laugh, read, listen to great podcasts and TED talks, sing, take walks, sew, and quilt.

First Presbyterian Church of Matawan has a long history in the Matawan Community. Currently worship service takes place at 10:00 am in person, with safety protocols, and virtually on Facebook and Zoom.
