CLIFFWOOD, NJ — Let's try to help this Cliffwood boy who was born with cerebral palsy win the bike of dreams!

Cliffwood mom, Bernadette Richmond, wrote to Patch that her son, Jacob, was born with cerebral palsy. He wears adaptive braces, but he's dying to ride a bike: When he sees his older sister and brother ride their bikes, he cries.

Richmond is trying to win her son the Easy Rider Junior, a tricycle specially designed for children who have difficulties with stability. The bike has a backrest so it gives much more support. The mom says the bikes costs about $3,000.

Richmond says she's tried to win the bike for the past four years, but couldn't get enough votes. So she wrote to her local Patch and asked for help. So vote her to learn more and vote for Jacob! https://www.greatbikegiveaway....

Richmond said on Saturday there are only two days left to vote for Jacob.

Jacob, 10 years old, is a student at Lloyd Road Elementary School in Aberdeen. He was born at Monmouth Medical Center; he was born premature, at 25 weeks, and weighed only one pound when we was born, his mother said. He is also cross-eyed in both eyes, which also makes it difficult for him to stay stable.

If Jacob can get enough votes on this page, he has a shot at winning the Easy Rider. Let's get him the bike!!
