Heroin Arrest, Sexual Assault Top Cases For Aberdeen Police
Police had a busy week last week, making an arrest for sexual assault and chasing a man who eluded them into Marlboro.

ABERDEEN, NJ - Officers responded to or initiated 261 calls for service between Dec. 6 and Dec. 12, including 19 suspicious persons or vehicles; 14 alarms; 13 first-aid calls; four domestic violence incidents, one noise complaint, four disorderly persons, seven motor-vehicle crashes, one burglary, one criminal mischief incident, two thefts, three frauds, four welfare checks, one crisis intervention call and 63 motor-vehicle stops. Officers issued 58 motor-vehicle summonses.
The Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests from Dec. 6 and Dec. 12:
- A 30-year-old Matawan man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen Municipal Court on Dec. 8. Patrol Officer Anthony Marone was the arresting officer.
- Richard Quitete, 35, Aberdeen, was charged with violation of a court order, obstruction of justice and resisting arrest following an Dec. 8 incident on Innerhill Lane. Patrol Officer Bruce Monro was the arresting officer and Sergeants Matthew Lloyd and David Mauro assisted.
- Anthony M. Ariemma, 30, Aberdeen, was charged with sexual assault after an incident at Ken Garden apartments, Matawan Avenue on Dec. 9. Patrol Officer Matthew McDow and Det. Manny Carabel investigated.
- Jordan M. Bolte, 37, Atlantic Highlands, was charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (heroin), reckless driving, eluding police and motor vehicle offenses following an incident on Lloyd Road and Highway 34 Dec.10. Patrol Officer Bart Szulczynski was the arresting officer and was assisted by patrol officers Ronald Osadacz and Raymond Campbell and Sgt. Michael Lasko, as well as officers from Marlboro police.

- A resident of Strathmore Gardens, South Atlantic Avenue., reported that sometime during the day on Dec. 6, someone entered his apartment and took about $300 worth of clothing. Patrol Officer Edgar Serrano responded.
- On Dec. 6, a Canfield Lane resident reported the theft of his passport from his mailbox. Patrol Officer Hank Chevalier took the report.
- On Dec. 8, a resident of Chelsea Village, Cross Road, reported that someone had damaged her vehicle while it was parked in the apartment complex lot. Patrol Officer Darryl Richardson took the report.
- On Dec. 10, a resident of County Road reported the fraudulent used of her debit card.
- On Dec. 12, a resident of Orchard St. reported someone had used his identity to open a wireless service account. Patrol Officer Hank Chevalier took the report.
- Patrol Officer Matthew McDow responded to a Dec. 12 assault on Raritan Street.
- Officers responded to motor vehicle crashes at the following locations: Cliffwood Avenue/Pond Street, Highway 35/Amboy Avenue, Matawan Avenue/Dogwood Lane, North Concourse, Van Brakle Road/June Place and Justice Lane..
