Job Fair: Company Needs Workers For Renovated Turnpike Rest Stop

The Grover Cleveland Travel Plaza on the NJ Turnpike in Woodbridge is set to re-open this month. HMSHost is hiring workers.

A company is hiring more than 50 workers for a newly renovated NJ Turnpike rest stop in Woodbridge.

HMSHost is looking for cashiers, baristas, prep and utility workers for the Market, PZA, Starbucks, and Popeyes at the Grover Cleveland Travel Plaza.

The rest stop was destroyed by flooding from the nearby Woodbridge Creek during Superstorm Sandy and is set to reopen later this month, according to NJ.com.

HMSHost is holding a job fair this week, with full- and part-time positions available.

The job fair is Friday, Nov. 6, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cheesequake Travel Plaza, mile marker 124 on the Garden State Parkway in South Amboy.
