Matawan & Aberdeen Councils Set Halloween Curfew

Ghosts and goblins may roam the streets on All Hallow's Eve, but trick-or-treaters must abide by local curfews.

Matawan and Aberdeen both issued Halloween curfews at their Oct. 18 council meetings.

According to the proclamation delivered in Aberdeen, residents should enjoy Halloween with their children while being assured that their "properties and well being are protected."

The curfew in both municipalities extends to all children under the age of 17.
