Matawan Teen Signs To Play College Tennis
Matawan's Alexa Cieri has been a tennis standout at Saint John Vianney, often leading the girls' tennis team to victory.

MATAWAN, NJ — A local Matawan teen who is a student at Saint John Vianney High School committed Wednesday to continue playing tennis at the collegiate level.
Alexa Cieri, of Matawan, will continue her tennis career at Wilkes University, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. That Cieri, seated, second from left. Cieri has been a tennis standout at Saint John Vianney, often leading the girls' tennis team to victory.
Seven Saint John student-athletes signed letters of intent to continue their education and athletics in college on Wednesday. The full list is:
