After two days of being pounded by rain, the Matawan and Aberdeen area will enjoy mostly sunny skies with a high near 87 degrees.

Sinkhole Closes Aberdeen Road Bridge 

The bridge on Aberdeen Road that runs over Matawan Creek will be closed until further notice as Monmouth County officials work to repair a sinkhole that makes the bridge unsafe. 

Aberdeen Relaxing Outside Dining Regulations

Aberdeen restaurants may soon be able to offer customers outside dining as the Township Council works to relax and clarify local restrictions governing street and sidewalk usage.

Aberdeen Zoning Board Meeting Canceled

The Aberdeen Township Zoning Board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, July 24 is canceled.
