OLD BRIDGE, NJ — If you are one of the more than 153,000 — yup, 153,000 — people in Monmouth County who does not have electricity Wednesday morning, Jersey Central Power & Light is giving away free water and ice at the following locations, starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday:

For those customers remaining without power for 24 hours or more, JCP&L is offering free water and ice.

JCP&L is reporting that 153,768 households in Monmouth County (over half of all customers in the county) remain without power as of 10 a.m. on Wednesday. There is no estimated restoration time given.
