People Flood Main Street for Matawan Day & Food Festival 2012
The annual festival had over 100 vendors, as well as free rides for children.
People came out in droves to the Matawan Day & Food Festival on Main Street on Saturday for a day of food, carnival games, shopping and performances.Â
Over 100 vendors signed up for tables through the Matawan Department of Recreation. Children made sand art, jumped in bouncy castles, and enjoyed ice cream throughout the day, while adults visited the beer and wine garden, enjoyed food from local restaurants, and chatted with neighbors.
The weather was sunny with a cool breeze, and several local dance studios and local bands performed on Main Street.
