Police Charge Matawan Man With Criminal Sexual Contact With a Minor

A Matawan man is being held on $200,000 bail after being charged by police for criminal sexual contact with a 15-year old female in his neighborhood.

Isaac Clarke, 68, of Matawan is also charged with endangering the welfare of a child. 

Police say they were contacted by the juvenile and her mother on Monday. After an investigation into the allegations, they arrested Clarke on Wednesday. 

Superior Court Judge Hon. Kilgallen set bail at $200,000. Clark was committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending grand jury action.

Matawan Detectives Joseph Lovallo and Steven Sakowski made the arrest.

An arrest is not a conviction. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
