Produce Entrepreneur, 63, of Cliffwood Dies
Born in Jersey City, he resided in Bayonne before moving to Cliffwood 19 years ago.

Roger Francis Vergaretti, 63, of Cliffwood, passed away, Monday, August 12, 2013, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.  Born in Jersey City, he resided in Bayonne before moving to Cliffwood 19 years ago.  He was a self-employed produce entrepreneur. Roger enjoyed the racetrack; and he was the best oldest brother ever.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Roger was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Catherine Rose Vergaretti; and two brothers, Philip and Leo.  He is survived by his dear siblings, David and wife Kathleen of Matawan; Martin of Bayonne; Catherine and husband Grio Mosca of Bayonne; Cecelia and husband Jay Landreth of Alexandria, VA; Elizabeth and husband Kamm Lodge of Pilesgrove; and Alicia and husband Bryan Welborn of Benbrook, Texas; and an adored uncle to Michael, James, David, Adam, Sarah, Arelene, James, Jeremy, John, Jessica and Caleb.

Family and friends are invited Friday, August 16, 2013, from 5-9 p.m. at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Saturday, 9 a.m. at the funeral home, with a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport, NJ. Cremation will be private. Â
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Roger’s memory to the St. Joseph Haiti Parish Twinning Program, St. Joseph RC Church, 376 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735. Â
