Sensitive Santa Party Comes to Aberdeen This Weekend

Families with special needs children are invited to bypass a hectic mall visit with Santa in favor of a quieter meeting with St. Nick at the Cliffwood VFW Post Sunday.

Parents of Special People, Inc., will host the second annual Sensitive Santa Party event from 2 to 4 p.m. at the 699 Cliffwood Ave location. More information is available here.

The organization also will be accepting items to donate to Holiday Express during the Santa event. A list of needed items is available here.

Also on Sunday, the Matawan-Aberdeen library will show the holiday classic “A Christmas Story.”

The film, which chronicles Ralphie Parker’s quest for the ultimate Christmas present, is rated PG and begins at 2 p.m.
