Temple Shalom Collects Supplies for Area Diaper Bank

The Women of Temple Shalom of Aberdeen recently collected 8400 diapers along with baby formula and baby wipes for donation to the Central Jersey Diaper Bank, the only diaper bank in this area. The Central Jersey Diaper Bank provides free baby formula and diapers plus wipes, clothing and other items to low-income families in the community These are items that are crucial to keeping babies and young children healthy and growing. Safety net programs such as WIC (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, lnfants, and Children) do not cover the cost of diapers.
