Trick-or-Treating to Move Forward Monday as Planned
The traditional Halloween activity should take place during the daylight and children should remain with parents, police say.

Trick-or-treating will take place Monday in Matawan and Aberdeen, according to Matawan Lt. Jason Gallo and Aberdeen Police Chief John Powers.
Parents should closely supervise children while they trick-or-treat. Trick-or-treating should take place in the afternoon to early evening hours, while it is still light out.
Hazardous conditions still exist in certain areas in both the Township and the Borough. Parents should avoid roads with downed wires. Please remember that all wires should be treated as if they are live and active.
