Vendors Wanted for Aberdeen Day 2013
Proceeds from the town wide event will benefit the Aberdeen Township Fire Department.

It's time to prepare to flaunt your Aberdeen pride at the township's annual Aberdeen Day.
The town wide event will feature a fishing contest at Cliffwood Beach, a talent competition, a softball tournament between the police department, fire department and department of works, as well as the traditional family celebration at Matawan Regional High School.Â
Although Aberdeen Day won't happen until Saturday, Sept. 21, they are asking interested vendors to get in applications as soon as possible but no later than June 1.Â

For $50, crafters and businesses may have as much space as they need. All sponsorships will be recognized on signage which will be placed throughout the town by Aug. 1. Vendors selling food, whether packaged or made on the premises, must make a written request to receive the proper paperwork from the Health Department.
All money raised by the Aberdeen Economic Business Council for Aberdeen Day will benefit the Aberdeen Township Fire Department. The fire department plans to use the money to purchase updated fire safety training equipment, which will be helpful to schools and businesses in the community.Â
