34th Annual Antique And Classic Boat Show Coming Up In Point Pleasant On Sept. 16

The free event will be held at the Johnson Brothers Boat Yard in Point Pleasant on Saturday.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ - The Antique Class Boating Society of Barnegat Bay is expecting up to 60 boats to be displayed at its 34th annual Antique and Classic Boat Show coming up on Sept. 16.

The free event will be held at Johnson Brothers Boat Yard in Point Pleasant from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The rain date is Sunday.

All types of boats are welcome, including in-water or on a trailer. A variety of runabouts, wooden boats, and earlier Fiberglass boats from the 1960s and 1970s will be on display. There are eight judging categories for the various types of boats.

The event will also feature marine vendors, marine artists, a flea market, antique classic American and British cars and radio-controlled boats, according to the organization’s website.

Food will also be available for purchase.

The museum is located in Building 13 at Johnson Boat Works off Bay Avenue, near the corner of Meadow Avenue.
