The new coronavirus has changed life for all of us. Local businesses have taken a huge economic hit, but communities are finding creative ways to support the establishments they know and love.

Tell us about your business and its history in your town.

We are a local neighborhood fitness center and have been in Point Pleasant for 12 years.

How has the new coronavirus impacted your business and its employees?

We were the first of the businesses mandated to close. We have been down for six and a half weeks. We are still hoping for the best to reopen. If we are down too long this may never happen. It saddens me to think some of our small businesses may be in the same boat.

How can local customers support you now and in the future?

When we reopen I ask that members continue with their memberships and their fitness journey rather than canceling. As of now we are just selling products, so if anyone is in need they can contact me through social media, telephone or email.

Do you have any words of encouragement for your community?

Stay strong! We will prevail! Never give up!

Are there any other outstanding businesses in town you think deserve some community support?

We have a great little town. It would not be fair to name a couple! Support the entire town! And if you see an open business please give your support!
