The BEACH!

Why we should visit the Best Escape Anyone Could Have

Point Pleasant, NJPoint Pleasant is home to one of the best beaches along the Jersey shore and one of the most recognized boardwalks on the East Coast. To mark the end of summer, and the turning of leaves I would like to wish you all the best of luck surviving the upcoming cold by looking forward to summer 2019.

To help those who have the upcoming winter blues (myself included), I would like to recap about what makes the beach the best vacation spot, day trip, and overall greatest place to relax.

First, there are three words that come to my mind when I think about the beach in the summertime and that is “Surf, Sand, and Sun” and how I wish I was currently there.

I’ve read that not only is the beach relaxing, but it has added benefits of not only reducing stress, boosting creativity, reducing depression, and being able to change your perspective on life. If you cannot go to the beach, well this company is willing to bring the beach to you! I won’t lie and say that after reading both these articles that not only did I find a perfect excuse to visit the beach, but also bring the beach to me!

What’s not to love? (rhetorical question, but please feel free to comment on what you love about the beach!) My favorite parts about a beach day are getting there early enough to save and build your home base for the day, bringing family, friends of all ages to socialize and enjoy a day outside, swimming in the ocean, finding seashells, walking the boardwalk to name a few highlights (I can keep going!). My absolute favorite part of any beach day in Point Pleasant or along the Jersey Shore is watching the sunset.

Where the land meets the sky; filled with beautiful yellows, reds, oranges, blues-the sunset only asks for a little bit of your time to stop and appreciate its view. When doing so, you can contemplate life’s toughest questions? Like, what are we doing for dinner?

Boardwalk food, boardwalks, sun, summertime, and the beach are all things that bring joy to many people and I’m lucky enough to be included in that category. I hope that if you decided to read this opinionated article that you will be happily sitting “Somewhere on a Beach” as Dierks Bentley put it, or counting down the days till the unofficial start of summer (It will be less than 241 days by the time I post).

As my article draws to an end, I would like to remind you, my readers, that the beach is the best place to be! And to live with the motto of “Surf, Sand, Sun is where I need to be.” So, I bid you goodbye, and hope that we make it through another three seasons before we bring out our beach chairs, towels, coolers, bathing suits, and beach umbrellas. And I hope to find you all sitting under an umbrella and somewhere on a beach one day soon.
