Boro Chamber of Commerce Offers Spring Anchor Program

This initiative rewards shoppers who stay local and help local businesses in Point Pleasant.

POINT PLEASANT—The Point Pleasant Boro Chamber of Commerce offers a Spring Anchor program designed to help support local businesses and offer locals incentives for shopping locally.

According to the borough’s website, this new program was created by the Chamber of Commerce for both the local businesses and the community.

“The Chamber wanted to create a program that they could continue to offer every year and grow,” the announcement says.

“It is their way to thank their members and the community in an engaging way!”

If you are interested in joining the program, all you have to do is pick up an Anchor card from either the Chamber of Commerce office, located on 1620 Beaver Dam Rd, or one of the participating member businesses listed below. You can earn an anchor by either pledging to or shopping at one of the local participating businesses.

Once you fill all 10 anchor spots, return your card to the chamber to be entered into a once-a-week drawing for a $25 Chamber Bucks Voucher to be used at any of the participating member businesses of your choice.

Point Pleasant businesses participating in the Spring Anchor program include: Anytime Repair Service, Anytime Fitness, Clarizio Music Center, Crest Point Rehabilitation Center, DeFelice Auto Sales & Repairs, Divi Tree, Eagle Speed Oil & Lube, Garrow Wellness Center, Haven’s Sweet Shop, Jersey Mikes, Kim & Jenn Cleaners, Klotz’s Kitchen, Lovelandtown Grocery & Provisions, Northeast Sign & Lighting, Pixie’s Sunrise Café, Plethora Boutique, Salon DiMaria
Shore Fresh Seafood, Stefan Byramji, Agent, New York Life Insurance Company, Susan J Roche Portraits, The Cookie Lady Café, The Crew on Point, The Grenville Hotel & Restaurant, The New Country Bakery, Top That! Donuts, Wish Upon A Jar, Wharfside Restaurant, and Woodchucks BBQ.
